In the United States of America, 85% of youth victims of human trafficking are homeless or in foster care. This training will assist participants in gaining a basic understanding domestic human trafficking including the different types of trafficking. Participants will learn how to identify signs that a youth may be vulnerable or a victim of sex trafficking. Participants will engage in activities that clarify the role of social workers when working with survivors of human trafficking. Participants will learn how to assess and provide resources to support this population.
