Mandated Reporter Training

 The Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Act of 1977 mandates certain professions must report actual or suspected cases of child maltreatment.  This training is designed to enhance the social worker's knowledge including but not limited to the following areas; 1) Identifying signs of child maltreatment; 2) understanding the policies and procedures for responding tosuspected child maltreatment; 3) reporting incidents or suspected incidents of child maltreatment to Child Protective Services.   Registration deadline: July 7, 2017 or until the class is full. HIV/AIDS: What Every Social Worker Should Know

 The HIV/AIDS:  What Every Social Worker Should Know training will address the issues related to working with clients affected by HIV/AIDS.  The training will discuss myths and facts about the virus.  The training will be interactive and skill-based and include scenarios, role plans and discussion.   Registration deadline: July 5, 2017 or until class is full.
